Freight & Logistics

Zhengzhou sits on the China–Europe rail corridor, which changes the maths for anything heavier than a sample but more urgent than a container.

Three routes, three different problems

There is no single best freight method. The right answer depends on weight, urgency and how much of your margin the freight can absorb.

RouteTransit (door to door)Best forWatch out for
China–Europe rail12–18 days100 kg – 20 t, Europe destinationSchedule is fixed; missing a departure costs a week
Air freight5–8 daysSamples, urgent replenishment, high value per kgCost scales brutally above ~500 kg
Sea freight30–40 daysFull containers, heavy or low-value-per-kg goodsPort congestion adds unpredictable days

For North America, rail is not an option — it is air or sea, and the gap between them is wide. For Europe, rail is usually the best combination of cost and speed, which is why Zhengzhou’s terminal matters.

What we handle

Export declarations. Chinese customs export paperwork, commodity classification, and the origin documents your import broker will ask for.

Booking and consolidation. Space booked under our forwarder accounts, or under yours if you prefer to keep the relationship.

Documentation matching. Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or rail waybill, certificate of origin. The most common delay at destination is a mismatch between these documents — not a customs problem, an administrative one.

Insurance. Cargo insurance arranged on request, quoted at the actual rate rather than a flat markup.

Incoterms

We quote FOB, CIF and DAP as standard. If you work on EXW or DDP we can accommodate it, but tell us early — DDP in particular requires knowing the destination duty treatment before the goods move, not after.

What we do not do

We do not own ships, and we do not pretend to. Freight is booked through forwarders and billed at cost with the forwarder invoice attached. Our margin is the sourcing commission, not a hidden freight spread.

What it costs

Freight is quoted per shipment, at cost. For a rough planning figure, ask us for a rate indication against your expected volume and destination — we will give you a range rather than a single number, because a single number would be a guess.

Need a freight indication? Send the destination, weight and target date and we will come back with a range.
