We started because buyers kept asking the same question: how do I know which of these twenty factories is actually good?
Where we are, and why it matters
Our office is in Zhengzhou’s high-tech zone, roughly two hours by road from the plants that sinter most of the world’s diamond segments. That is not a marketing line — it is the reason the business works.
When a factory claims it can hold a tolerance, we can be on the floor the same week to check. When a shipment is held at customs, we can be at the terminal with the paperwork. When a buyer needs a sample urgently, someone drives it to the airport rather than waiting for the factory to find a courier.
Sourcing agents based in Shenzhen or Yiwu buy diamond tools from traders. We buy from the plants that make them.
What we are
An agent, not a trader. We do not hold inventory and we do not resell at a hidden margin. The factory quote is shown to you at cost; our 5% commission is a separate, stated line. This is a worse business model for a one-time transaction and a much better one for a relationship.
Small on purpose. We take on a limited number of active programmes at a time. The person who quotes your order is the person who answers when you ask about production status. There is no account manager layer.
Technical, not just commercial. The questions that decide whether a diamond tool works — bond hardness, concentration, segment geometry — are engineering questions. If we cannot discuss them with a factory’s technical staff, we cannot protect you from a specification that looks right on paper.
What we are not
- We are not a marketplace. We do not have ten thousand suppliers listed; we have a few hundred we have actually visited.
- We are not a freight forwarder. Freight is booked through forwarders and billed at cost with their invoice attached.
- We are not a certification body. Where third-party lab testing is needed, we commission it and pass through the lab’s report and receipt.
The legal entity
JV Sourcing is a trading name of Henan Juliang Vision Network Technology Co., Ltd. (河南巨量视界网络科技有限公司), registered in Zhengzhou, Henan, China.
Contracts, invoices and export documents are issued under the registered entity. If your procurement process requires company registration documents, export licence copies or bank details before onboarding, ask — we send them routinely.
